The 10th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau) selects an exceptional shortlist of nominees

Leading developers and design practices are vying for the hallmarks of real estate excellence in China

Bangkok, Thailand – Organizers of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau) today revealed the shortlist of nominated companies that will advance to the highly anticipated historic celebration.

The 10th Annual PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau) will highlight achievements in property development and design across 29 categories. The 2023 Awards Ceremony will be held at The Athenee, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok on Friday 8 December.

This year’s shortlist of nominees includes some of the country’s most distinguished developers and prolific design practices. Companies competing for the awards in mainland China are AREP & AUBE & CAPOL; Pinoy Limited; Design Power House (DPH); J&A Design; lead8; New Global China; Shanghai Tianhua Planning and Architecture Co., Ltd.; Shun Tak Qiantan (Shanghai) Cultural and Real Estate Co., Ltd.; Zhuhai Huava Real Estate Co., Ltd.

Companies competing for the awards in Hong Kong and Macau are Centralcon Properties Company Limited; China Construction Engineering (Macao) Co., Ltd.; Citic Pacific Limited; CK Asset Holdings Limited and Son Hong Kai Properties Limited; CSI Properties Limited; lead8; Sino Land Company Limited.

The independent judging panel that shortlisted this year’s nominees in Mainland China consisted of Ken Ip, Head of Awards for Mainland China and President of the Asian MarTech Association; Zhou Guangming (Ray), Founder/Creative Director of Vermilion Zhou Design Group; Coco Lin, Principal/Project Manager, B+H Consulting International Inc.; Eunice Wu, Real Estate Director, Overseas Development Department, Shekou China Merchants; Fang Li, founder of One House Design; Guo Nu, Founder and Design Director, AUD Architect and Urban Design; James Wu, Executive Director, Co-Head of Valuation, China, Valuation and Consulting Services, Colliers; Jesse Wang, Design Director at FG Studio; Lu Mingyi, Director of Planning and Design Department, Sichuan Waterfront Urban and Rural Development Co., Ltd; Wang Shaoqing, Founder/Chief Designer, CLV.DESIGN; Wei Jin Jing, founder and chief creative director of Nature Times Art Design; and Zhong Ling, founder of DUTS Design.

The independent judging panel that shortlisted this year’s nominees in Hong Kong and Macau consisted of Paul Tse, Chairman of the Awards Hong Kong and Macau and Chairman of the Macau Building Contractors and Developers Association; Bernie Devine, Senior Regional Director, Asia Pacific, Yardi Systems, Inc.; Gregory Ko, Head of Logistics and Industrial Services, Jones Lang LaSalle Limited in Hong Kong; Jimmy Wardhana, Co-Founder and Director, JWCC Architects Limited; Oliver Tong, Managing Director of Jones Lang LaSalle Macau and Zhuhai; Vincent Cheung, Founder and Managing Director of Vincorn Consulting and Appraisal Limited; Mr. Yeo, Edmund, Vice President of China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce (Hong Kong and International Branch); and Yu Kam Hong, former President of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors.

Eric Dong, General Manager of Baicheng Tax Services – HLB China, emphasized the fairness, transparency and integrity of the award selection process in mainland China. HLB Hodgson Impey Cheng Limited – HLB Hong Kong, under the leadership of Directors Jack Tien and Clara Ng, oversaw the selection process for the awards in Hong Kong and Macau.

Winners in key PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards countries (Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau) will be eligible to compete in the 18th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final, also scheduled to take place on 8 December in Bangkok, Thailand. They will compete for the Best in Asia award against their peers from Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, in addition to Australia, India and Japan.
