The latest addition builds on San Diego Office Design’s extensive experience in multiple sectors, including student housing, commercial, retail and hospitality. The move follows the company’s recent completion of the luxury student apartment complex at StateSide, which also features an innovative approach.

According to a recent report by Ibis World, the health and fitness club industry in the United States was worth more than $30 billion last year, making it a highly competitive sector. As a result, operators must consider a range of factors, including target market, available space/layout, brands, and equipment.

As part of its new service, San Diego Office Design introduced its proprietary Research Center Method(TM), which involves clients at every stage of the fitness center design process. The company can also create continuous 3D visualizations, allowing clients to evaluate the effectiveness of different layouts and methods.

“We take time to get to know each customer, their brand, their vision and their goals, before creating a solution that fits their needs,” a company representative explained. “Our goal is to move beyond ‘the way it’s always been’, and instead create spaces that amplify the brand and build ROI well into the future.”
