Kim Kardashian shows off simple Christmas trees in bathroom of $60 million mansion in Los Angeles as fans tear down ‘boring’ decor
Kim Kardashian flaunted simple Christmas trees in the bathroom amid ongoing backlash over her holiday decorations.
The Kardashians star has been mocked for her dim lights, with some fans thinking her home looks like a maximum security prison.
But that didn’t stop Kim, 43, from adding more embellishments to the collection and sharing her progress on social media.
The reality star took to her Instagram profile on Sunday night to record a video of herself entering the master bathroom of her $60 million Hidden Hills mansion.
The very minimalist bathroom is built with floor-to-ceiling cream-colored marble.
Kim’s en-suite bathroom features an oversized soaking tub and sink console with a large window covering the entire back wall of the space.

Just outside the glass, the Skims founder had rows and rows of Christmas trees lined with twinkling white lights that made the room glow.
The mother-of-four walked through the bathroom while photographing her minimalist decor, playing the Charlie Brown classic, Christmas Time Is Here.
Kim also added a photo of the holiday display, writing: “My Happy Place” along with a tree and sparkling emoji.
Grab a Christmas tree
Despite the TV star’s obsession with minimalist and seasonal home design, fans were not convinced.
Late last month, fans mocked the Christmas decorations she was wearing in her Los Angeles mansion.
The Kardashians star previously showed off thousands of tiny lights that decorated the driveway leading to her $60 million Hidden Hills home.
Kim shared a video of the trees along the path lit up with silver lights strung around the trunk and leaves.
As Michael Bublé’s version of “It’s Beginning to Look Like Christmas” played in the background, she pulled into her extended aisle.
The black security wall parted to reveal dozens of trees inside her front yard also lit up with twinkling lights.
Critics criticized the motifs in an online thread.
One wrote: “It’s very confusing with all the light and then compared the house to looking like the entrance to a maximum security prison.”
Another added: “How can you make a billion lights look so dull and dull? They never disappoint.”
A third said: “Looks like a shrine decorated for Christmas in Black Mirror.”
“This reminds me of the Apple Store for some reason,” another wrote.
One user criticized Kim for not choosing more colorful decorations to please her four children — North, 10, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4.
They were angry, saying: “Instead of Christmas joy for her four young children, she chose aesthetics.”
“I can’t tell if he looks magical and cute in person or tacky. From the video, I don’t like him.”
Meanwhile, Kim’s older sister, Kourtney Kardashian, has outdone her younger brother with an elaborate elf and fruit display at her luxury home.
The 44-year-old – who gave birth to son Rocky last month – showed off her sister Kim’s decor with her latest festive display.
Courtney created an adorable choir scene out of dolls and fruit on a shelf in the kitchen of her $9 million home.
She posted a video of an elf on the shelf sitting on an upside-down cup and acting as a choir leader.
There was a small book of sheet music open in front of him, stuck to the end of a wooden stick
The “chorus” consists of more of the Dwarf hymns available on the shelf as well as the tangerines with the faces drawn on them in black marker.
Next to them was a bunch of bananas with more faces on them with a dwarf sitting on top.
Kourtney set the video to a choir singing Carol Of The Bells and posted it to her Instagram Story.
