In this week’s episode, we explore another five-room BTO apartment in NorthShore, Punggol.
Spanning 1,216 square feet, this home combines a pure beach villa aesthetic along with family-friendly themes.
A warm, airy feel welcomes anyone who enters the home, blending elements of clean simplicity with bright cheer.

Starting from the entryway, we find Shaker-style cabinetry culminating in open display shelving, decorated in light wood tones and soft curved edges for child safety.

The living room focuses on open spaces, with furniture placed at one end of the living area, leaving ample space in the middle for the children to roam.

Adjacent is the dining area, which features an eight-seat dining set accompanied by timeless bone chairs and wicker pendant lights. A niche has been carved out at the far end, adding a personal touch to the space.

The kitchen is a highlight for cooking enthusiasts. Finished with a large worktop space, the kitchen design is both beautiful and functional at the same time.

There is a utility court at the far end, just past the arch entrance – which coincidentally helps keep laundry out of sight.

Heading into the rooms, we find the corridors finished with curved corners – again on the theme of child safety, while at the same time lightening the space.

The children’s bedroom is equipped with modular furniture to adapt as they grow, and finished in a playful safari theme.

Adjacent is the workroom, which often serves as a study/play room for the children.

In contrast, we find the shared bathroom – which exudes a coastal character, with its white aesthetic, wooden surface, and wall tiles.

The same theme flows into the master bathroom.

Finally, the master bedroom features an open display shelf that transforms into a right-angled wardrobe – again designed with curved edges.

Simple and beautiful candelabra lights surround the master bed, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere for the couple.

As always, special thanks to the family (@northshoreloft) for opening their home to us.
