ArtSugar launches a nursery line and collaborates with Play-Doh

With briefs full of interior design inspiration, the ideas are endless, even overwhelming. ArtSugar has always curated fun, happy pieces that elevate. I wanted to do the same for nurseries by adding a little color and cheer. We hope this curated collection appeals to all New moms and moms-to-be.

Founded in 2017, ArtSugar is a thriving arts and home decor brand that collaborates with well-known artists including Michael Turchin, Jessica Stempel, Angie Crabtree, and many more. From framed canvas prints and paintings to cutting boards and acrylic trays—everything is cheerful, bright, and has a whimsical edge.

Baby sugar

While she was planning this new project, Greenberg was thinking a lot about how to incorporate art into her future child’s nursery. The result is a collection that can be easily integrated into almost any style room. “Our nursery wall art consists of soft color palettes, subtle tones, and easy-to-digest and soothing themes, which blend and match so well together,” says the founder.

“When designing these products, I was always thinking about what it feels like to be a newborn with the right mood for a nursery. You’ll notice that the collection is missing the popular aesthetic found in many of the products we sell on ArtSugar.

The line features new prints as well as a selection of previously offered options. The framed rainbow watercolor print and framed rainbow watercolor print are both personal favorites of Greenberg’s. Each one comes with a choice of black or white frame. Best of all, these pieces are gender neutral, making them perfect for gifting.

Can’t decide how to choose art for your nursery? Greenberg recommends using soft colors that don’t clash with your furniture or other décor. “The room should be quiet and nothing should attract too much attention.”

In addition to the art, there are towels, swaddles, and blankets in the line.

Collaboration with Play-Doh

ArtSugar also recently launched a collaboration with popular brand Hasbro, Play-Doh. Greenberg created this art by smashing Play-Doh in different colors and photographing it.

These pieces make the perfect addition to a nursery or even a young child who might be enjoying the classic game for the first time.
