The university launches a national search for dean of the College of Architecture, Arts and Construction


The Dean’s Office is launching a national search for the inaugural dean of the College of Architecture, Arts, and Building. Clemson University’s new College of Architecture, Arts and Construction (CAAC) launched its first semester in fall 2023, welcoming 1,199 majors and graduate students to campus. In its first year, CAAC attracted students from 39 states and 21 countries around the world.

Featuring five undergraduate degree programs and 12 graduate programs, the College sustains more than a century of design, art and construction education at Clemson. It was formed on 1 July 2023, from the existing School of Architecture, Department of Arts and Nyeri Department of Building, Development and Planning.
