Integrating geometric elements into unified architectural designs. Conduct periodic observations on production/manufacture of construction works to monitor compliance with plans. Ensure that design and construction efforts are integrated into defining constructability standards; Manage the buildability review process Join us to be trustworthy in everything we do Qualifications Our ideal candidate is passionate about building innovation Understands the big picture and mission, as well as an eye for detail A completed five- or six-year architectural degree program (accredited degree preferred). Licensed (or ability to be licensed) to practice architecture in the state of Alabama. Excellent graphic design and presentation skills preferred. Significant experience in residential and light commercial projects is required, especially with large multi-family projects in excess of 200 units. Experience in individual family projects is a strong plus. A proven track record of innovation and a strong commitment to excellence. Especially design and construction, including concept preparation, planning, design development, construction documents and preferred supporting materials. Demonstrate general knowledge of building materials and details, construction techniques, relevant engineering principles, sustainability strategies, and building codes. Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit, word processing and spreadsheet software required. Demonstrated proficiency in digital modeling and rendering software, Photoshop strongly preferred. Interested in working with teams on refined architectural design. Three to five years of field construction experience, including detailing and coordination. Excellent design and visualization skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, strong communication and interpersonal skills, experience in budgeting, contract negotiation, and project management LEED certification (or actively pursuing) is a strong plus.
