Companies qualify for the Inspiring Future Generations Awards News

Environmental charity Thornton Education Trust has announced the architectural practices that have been shortlisted for the latest Inspire Future Generations Awards.

AHMM, Jan Kattein Architects and We Made That are competing for “Best Practices” this year. AHMM was also shortlisted in the “Social Value” category.

Additionally, Kattein and We Made That were shortlisted in the ‘Community Engagement Category’ – alongside Matt & Fiona and Office S&M.

Elsewhere in the awards, Stanton Williams and Woods Bagot were shortlisted in the Education Collaboration category.

TET Trustee Victoria Thornton said there was an urgent need to create more opportunities for young people to impact their local environment and participate in the development of their communities.

“The IFG Awards celebrate those who contribute to achieving this goal, ensuring that our built environment authentically reflects the needs, aspirations and values of our most important stakeholders – the next generation,” she said.

Award winners will be announced later this year.
